Cliff, the system is still for sale. I recently sold the bulk of my information product line to a good friend and amazing magician Brad Ross. You may have heard of him as he just completed four world tours with Disney as their star illusionist. He's also the creator of "The IT Factor" and "The IT Factor LIVE!"

You can order most of my writings, audio programs, marketing systems and other information products directly from Brad and his company (<a href="http://makemagicmoney.com" rel="nofollow">www.MakeMagicMoney.com</a>) by visiting that site or going directly to <a href="http://JulianFranklinMagic.com" rel="nofollow">www.JulianFranklinMagic.com</a>

"Viral Marketing, which is six hours of audio and a thick workbook all on how to stimulate and control word of mouth marketing" Is this still on sale and if so, how much?

This is an interesting concept and approach. As I read your categories for reinventing, I can see myself fitting into one or more of them.

Good article Julian. You are right on the money too. I would imagine the overweight thing would cause a stir though. For me, I have arthritis that makes it difficult for me to exercise as I should but I'm trying to find things I CAN do in a disciplined fashion to make me healthier and more fit.

You mentioned that this article caused "quite a stir." I imagine you're saying that the "stir" was somewhat negative. I don't understand that because everything you said is true. I have tested this sort of thing in my life in the forty-some years I've been on the planet and it is all true--the most successful periods of my life have been just as you've described. Though there are exceptions to virtually anything (e.g. not all wealthy people are physically fit, and vice verse), generally speaking discipline is something that effects everything about a person's life. Lack of discipline causes a tremendous amount of unnecessary trouble in a person's life. Discipline is simply doing what is necessary regardless of other factors that would prevent it.

In the words of Richard S. Taylor in his book The Disciplined Life, "The world belongs to the disciplined."

Julian,

What an interesting take on failure! I love it and you are so right. I think I'm going to start viewing failure in a whole new light. Thanks for your insights.

Julian,
I liked your article a lot. The last year I have been kissing a lot of frogs to keep up business. Mailing, emailing and calling customers to ask for shows. I'm going to double up this year. Fail more. Been thinking about it but you distilled it in this article. Thank you for that. Have a terrific year. Be a failure.
