Promotional
Prestidigitation
This is a book on different ways to magically hand out your
contact information. This is a great book for restaurant
magicians as it teaches dozens of simple ways to leave your audience
with your contact information WITHOUT having to do business card
tricks. There are still a few good business card effects so
it makes a valuable
resource for salesmen, business professionals, and trade show workers,
too. This book was written for those with an understanding of
magic.

The
Double-Faced Book of Card Tricks Using Double-Faced Cards
was my very first magic book. There are fewer than 100 copies
left and when they are gone this book will never be
reprinted. It’s like two books in one. On
one side you learn tricks with a double-faced card and the other side
teaches tricks with a double-backed card. You get 5 specially
printed cards with each book. There is a section on using
cards with the same image on both sides (10 clubs on both sides for
example). The double-backed half of the book covers cards
with the same image on both sides as well as tricks using a red-blue
double-backer.
This work is a compilation of many tricks that have been around for a
long time. There is no new material in this book, rather it
was put together as a sort of mini-encyclopedia of effects using these
commonly available gaffed cards.

The
Ultimate Sponge Ball Routine
The sponge balls are some of the most powerful effects a
magician can perform. The magic happens in the hands of the
spectator. The props are inexpensive, totally examinable, and
"user friendly".
This routine was developed by Julian over a period of about a year.
It has all the basic effects with a spongeball (appearance,
vanish, transposition, color change, multiplication, a sucker effect,
audience participation, and more). It uses very few sleights,
resets almost instantly, and plays very big for audiences.

Big
Money
Magician holds up a standard US dollar. He mentions how he gets paid
"Big Bucks" and as he says this, the dollar instantly and visibly
expands to
jumbo size. Quick effect, but it plays remarkably well to non-magicians.

Rock
Solid Strolling Repetoire
(Lecture Notes)
I have very simple criteria for putting magic into my strolling
repertoire.
- The effect must be
very simple to perform (no difficult sleights, preferably none at all)
- It must work 100% of
the time
- It must be examinable
before, during, and after the trick, even if the spectator grabs at
unexpected times
- It must be completely
inexplicable to the lay audience
- It must be entertaining
- It must reset
instantly or very quickly, and...
- It must fit in my
pocket.
If it doesn't fit those criteria, it doesn't get used. This leaves me
with about 7 close-up tricks that I'm willing to share with your
group. This is the close-up magic I have performed for my
strolling work. Included will be some card effects, some coin
effects,
a bill switch routine, and others. The good thing about this
lecture is that the routines I do are SIMPLE. Finger flickers
might be dissappointed. I don’t like to get caught,
so most of my routines are sleight free. The few routines I
do that use sleights are simple to learn, with a little bit of practice.
The lecture notes contain 7 additional essays on topics related to the
performance of strolling close-up magic, including: "My Thoughts
on Close Up Magic", "Combining Effects for Maximum Impact", "My
Thoughts
on The Himber Wallet", "Setting Yourself Apart with Card Tricks",
"Approaching Tables", and others.
